ABOUT THE OWNER

Some people just sell saddles. But Katie is a born-and-raised Washington cowgirl who wears many boots & hats to build A-List Tack into the premiere saddle and horse tack consignment business in the Northwest. Using her experience, knowledge, and professionalism to connect her to many disciplines, brands, and equine industry leaders has se A-List Tack apart from other consignment businesses.

Her youth days were filled with competitive 4-H programs including the equine project and public speaking, showing her all-around horse "Rico," and holding two rodeo queen titles while preparing for the Miss Rodeo Washington pageant.

In college, Katie took her love for knowledge a step further in the western industry and majored in History. She graduated from Washington State University at the top of her class, but also with the first oral-history collection of rodeo queens and two University research showcase honors.

Now, Katie is a history teacher and shows Reined Cowhorses in the Northwest Reined Cowhorse Association. She enjoys being part of a western industry that is friendly, competitive, and looks forward to seeing her cowhorse connections across the region!
